What have you been doing since BB? Degree? Work? Exhibitions?
RMIT Bachelor of Arts: Sculpture (2^nd Year in 2012)

Looking back, how has your year at BB had impact or effect? Please explain.
Without Brighton Bay, it's teachers, the support and mentoring they offerred, I would never have considered a uni course. Even in second year uni i employ many of the skills i learned at BB. I still hold my ruler a certain way when cutting paper. Information I didn't realise I had absorbed, pops up at unlikely times to help me solve problems and evolve ideas. Having a year at BB has given me a competence and confidence that makes my current course more accessible, interesting and exciting.

Why would you recommend Brighton Bay to potential students? And / or parents?
Not only is Brighton Bay an amazing, lots of fun, and comprehensive preparation for university or tafe, it is also unique as an institution that is more like a caring, cohesive family. Intimate and nurturing, with teachers who care if you succeed and push you gently to discover the direction in which you want to travel. The diversity of skills taught by proficient teachers makes BB a valuable and indispensable doorway to higher learning. The experience of Brighton Bay is not one likely to be repeated at other institutions and is well worth considering as a beneficial bridge between school and uni, or any other time.

What's your fondest memory from your time at BB?
My fondest memory is not an isolated incident, rather it was the growing fondness that I developed during the year for the teachers and students.

Any other comments?
There is also the very important fact, that if you are after a body of work that will be a doorway to the education of your choice, i believe that the extensive folio compiled at the end of the year would be a vehicle to anywhere.
